In 2018 Indianapolis, the announcement that four potential public high schools may close, sparks widespread outcry. Among the schools slated for closing is Broad Ripple High School, an iconic school known for the performing arts and it's most famous alumni, David Letterman. Community members begin flooding public meetings. Soon two community activists emerge and one becomes the voice for those opposed to the closings as she questions the school board's motives and decision process.
